PhoneGap Desktop App 0.1.2 Beta recently released, is an Open-Source framework for building cross-platform native applications using standard web technologies such as HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
What’s New
The major highlights allow us to start rapid releases:
- OS X installer.
- Windows installer, which should address some security issues.
- Update notification when a new version is available (we promise to not release as often as Adobe Reader).
- Add desktop installers for OS X and Windows.
- Prototype auto-updaer support and settle on update notification.
- Fix case-sensitive filenames that affect some operating systems.
- Fixed analytics returning null for debug builds.
- Add operating system to analytics.
- Fix navigator.contacts.pickContact as undefined.
- Add the standard EULA to each installer.
- Update to connect-phonegap@0.14.8.
